You can create 3D terrains and imagery easily with our partner plugin Plex-Earth. You can also use any other similar software that can generate 3D meshes as dwg / dxf. Moreover, TIN surfaces generated in AutoCAD Civil 3D or BricsCAD Pro are also accepted by our software.
No, Virto.CAD does not simulate solar energy yield. However, we do provide a direct export to PVsyst to simulate the solar energy yield via PV collada (.pvc format). Since PVsyst is still one of the most accurate yield simulations, we feel very confident leaning on their software for this.
Yes, you can import .dwg files.
